I'm still a little confused. I have Rev. John3 TUFTS as s/o Capt. Peter2 Tufts and Mercy Cotton. You say he is a s/o John3. (Savage calls the same woman Mercy on one page and Mary on another).

And for the birthplace for Sarah Bradstreet, he states:

HUMPHREY, Rowley...rem. to Newbury, there by w. Sarah had ...Sarah, 14 Jan. 1697

Born in Newbury, not Rowley as you quoted from "Vital Records of Rowley."

I've found a lot of tiny mistakes in Savage, but mixing up the wives of John Tufts is by far the biggest one yet.

I am going to stay with Sarah Tufts as d/o Sarah Bradstreet (as you quoted from "Essex Institute Historical Collection") instead of following Savage with Elizabeth Sargent.

I also have a direct line to Gov. Simon Bradstreet (the lines join later), so I am quite concerned in keeping the two lines sorted.
