Simon Bradstreet & Elizabeth [Capen]: Died where?
Posted by: Olive Hoffman (ID *****5305) Date: March 20, 2004 at 13:12:26

I have been trying to find the location of the deaths of both Simon Bradstreet (1682-1738)and his wife, Eliz. Capen (1691 or 1695 -1781), but none of the things I have looked at tell where they died; what I do find is "perhaps he was a doctor", "most likely died in Barbados"... but with so many of the same name running around, it could be another Simon Bradstreet. I have seen two years of birth for Eliz. Capen: 1691 and 1695, which is correct? I have not found the VRs for Topsfield on line to verify - and how about the date of marriage - was it 12 October or 12 November, 1711..
I did find a genealogy of the Capen Family in the July, 1866 NEHGR but it seemed to be a work in progress...never did find a finished product in further volumes.
