Thanks for the info, will add it to my backlog of responses to really old queries of mine that have been coming my way since before the holidays. I guess everyone is doing last minute surname research in anticipation of the (finally!) 1940 census, eh? Off hand, I do have one quick question come to mind now: your source for the date of his death? Of his two death dates, I do have one that says 1738, my source: Miss Adella Helmershausen..... Her Bradstreet descent: (3) Simon, 1682-1738....
I have a whole notebook with her various works/photos, etc. and maybe I found this after I posted my query. I cannot recall; too many years, too many ancestors.... but I also know that there were errors in her works at times, one of the biggiest is that she refused to acknowledge that two of the Bradstreet lines became Broadstreet.

Thanks for responding; never too late. Once I get back to Bradstreet/Broadstreet, if I have any other questions, will contact you off site.
