The Edward Brailsford in your posting was, I believe, a son of Elizabeth Moncrief and John Brailsford. Elizabeth Moncrief was a dau. of Susannah Gray (1728-1812) and Richard Moncrief, Sr., (d. 1789). I am a gggg-grandson of Richard Moncrief, Sr., descending through his son Richard (1755-1801) and his wife Elizabeth Young (1764-1836). I would be glad to share the relatively small amount of data I have on the Brailsfords as well as the considerable collection I have on the Moncriefs.
