Lisa, I do understand what you are saying and yes, "baptisms" of that kind do occur and I find that unacceptable. I am genuinely interested in genealogy and have lengthy books of information on my own "trees"; my obit postings are just a side-line.

Please don't be offended by anything I have said; it is perfectly all right to consider the information "private"; I am sure you have your "family" information and that is as it should be; I did not intend to step on toes, please excuse.

I know my obit postings are current but they are the obits we will be chasing down in a few years and if I can help people connect with lost members of their families, I will do so and I will go out of my way to help, in any way I can. Hope this answers your questions.
