Hi Gladys,

Had to be Dr. Edward Brailsford (b.abt. 1776, died 20 May 1856). He was in Charleston at the time....1813 City of Charleston Directory through 1830 Charleston Census. My family software calculates Dr. Edward Brailsford and Christiana Brailsford Skrine were 2nd cousins. Christiana was descended from Morton (son of Edward Brailsford immigrant) and Dr. Edw.Brailsford desc. from Joseph (son of immigrant).

Dr. Edward Brailsford was the brother of Robert Brailsford, my direct ancestor. Later records of Charleston will have a Dr. Robert McLeod Brailsford, son of my Robert.

Dianne
