Branch, Branches, more than one Branch
I been'a readin this Branch stuff fer nigh onta three years now. Fer review, I done spent tha last three weeks a'trying to cipher eva last thread'a stuff whats still'a sittin there fer all this time. Wellsir I finally done come to a conclusion. Aint none of it fer shore. I mean Don't nobody know fer shore who belongs to who specially when ya git back to old John born back around 1840. I see some folks a'sayin he wus born in Halifax County, some Bladen County, Some Edgecomb County, and all kin'na places. Some got'im born one year and some another. Some got'im with one set a'younguns and some with another.
Then ya git down to tha places where they start a'talking about who's younguns is that what done settled in Southeast Georgia way back yonder....Whew--ee!!! Gits yo head so screwed up ya feel like ya been a'sittin on the banks a' tha Altamaha fer tha last week a'nursing a jug a'corn squeezings.
Then in the middle a'alla this some pore sole starts a'talking about Documentation---say what!!I think what documentation means is can you prove with all kinds of papers that James is the papa of all them chillun or can you prove they belong to William. Only tha Lord knows and I ain't to sure a'that.
On a serious side, when you commence to readin bout all the places back in 1780,90, 1800.10,20 and so fourth and you need a good map.
