Branch DNA

If you are a Branch researcher and are interested in the Branch DNA test, please check out the Branch group at FamilyTreeDNA.com. They are offering their tests at a reduced rate just through the month of June. I believe DNA is the future of genealogy. It can not replace research but used together it can help us overcome our "brickwalls". If you are familiar with DNA testing you know that we all are in Haplogroups. There are at least two Haplogroups in the Branch family. One is I1 and another is R1b1. Both are claiming to connect back to Lionel Branch. As oranges and apples don't grow on the same tree, these two Haplogroups aren't from the same Branch tree. To sort this out we need more male Branches to be tested and good documented genealogy. If all Branch researchers would work together we would eventually be able to sort these families out.
