Hi, Macay and Shirley. AS I understand it, you will get information on your father's DNA ancestry-ie the Young side, not Branch. For the Branch story you need to get a male Branch relative of your mother, her brother, for example, to do the test. My results give me no matches with the American Branchs tested so far, so it looks like at least 3 haplogroups were in England with the branch name in the 17th century. I was looking for answers not more questions! Only thing for it-lots more Branch DNA testing should be done!
