I am researching my daughters line on her fathers side this is what I have so far.
Her grandfather was
Richardo Alejandro BRANCH 21JAN1923-10JULY1995
GGRparents were
Alejandro Luis BRANCH m. Avalina ROMERO
gggrandparents were
Alejandro BRANCH who was a sherriff in New Mexico according to the 1880 Census. He was married to Maria Refugia del ACOSTA. There was also I believe Marias mother living with them at the time and was listed as 105 years old her name was Augustina CASERIO.
ggggrandparents were
Alexander K BRANCH 1798-1840 m Maria Paula LUNA in NM
gggggrandparents (heres where my confusion is)
I have listed Peter BRANCH as the father of Alexander K BRANCH however Peters wife on my records show Martha SCOTT as his wife and Alexanders mother..
Help please this is my brick in the wall of the BRANCH family.
