BRANCH, WILKES, WOOLDRIDGE FAMILIES
Posted by: Ann Allan (ID *****5370) Date: March 22, 2011 at 13:44:43

I just got a DNA report from my dad's "Family Finder" results. DNA proves that he is a cousin match to the Wooldridge family and another proves that he has some Branch matches. It was said that my 5th GGrandfather, Isaac Wilkes or Wilks (a Revolutionary War soldier)was married to Elizabeth Branch. Most say she was either a daughter of William Branch b: 1719 or John Branch. A John Branch lived next door to Isaac Wilkes in Bladen Co., NC. I would appreciate any information on these connections. Thanks so much.

Ann Wilkes Allan
