I read where there are some remnants of the Kingsland plantation still visible near the intersection or route 5 and Kingsland Rd in Chesterfield. I did a google map search and there are some very old looking structures just after you turn onto Kingsland Rd, but I suppose it is anyone's guess when doing it that way. If that's what it is, I'm surprised there is no historical marker there. If you find out anything would you let me know?
