In Burke, NC a James Branch is in early 1800, 1810, 1820 Census records with elderly woman (assumed to be his widowed mother). Gone by 1830 Census. Any info would be appreciated. Also, any Branch male in Surry Co, in 1820. Any marriage between Branch and Elizabeth Lindsay or Porter and Elizabeth Lindsay. Thanks all.
