Funeral Services for Verna Brantley, 92, of Daingerfield, will be 10:30 A.M., Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at Lilly’s Chapel Church of Christ. Burial will follow at Clark Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home, Inc., of Hughes Springs. The family will receive visitors from 4:00 until 6:00 P.M., Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Brantley was born February 7, 1919 in Omaha, Texas and passed away January 22, 2012 in Forney, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband Earl Newton Brantley; and daughter Leah Hill.
Mrs. Brantley is survived by one son Austin Brantley and daughter-in-law Debra, of Brandon, MS; one daughter Susan Head and son-in-law Alan, of Forney, TX; 4 sisters, Dorothy Lanier, of Jenkins, Zelda Eaton, of La Porte, Betty Ellis, of Tyler and Patsy Brown, of Longview; two brothers Neil Vaughn, of Jenkins and Donald Vaughn, of Midlothian; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great great-grandchild.
