Hi Beth!

My great grandfather was John Brammann, who immigrated from Germany, I believe. The spelling of his name was changed when he immigrated in 1888-1889. He was born in 1863 (Germany), and died in 1933 (New Jersey). It's probably not the same person.

However, you might want to try spelling the last name as BRAMMAN(N). It could have changed when they immigrated.
