I belive my grandfather who just recently passed away I believe at the age of 99-104 not exactly sure, who came from Erikuts Russia. This is what I was told. His name was Harry Braunstein. I do not know the whole history on our name... but I was only left with clues like our name origionated from the "Brownstone" then Brownstein, Braunstein, which also did take other names like Bernstein. I was told by his aunt that he did not come from Russia, but his parents did. I am VERY confused. I also did have a second uncle named Abe who was married to my 2nd aunt (forgot her name) who lived in NY. I do belive there last name was not Braunstein. I belive my father was a mistake, and was left out from the whole family, except from his dad (my grandfather). I know there are alot more Braunsteins... But I figured I could ask around here.
