Marilee, 1870 federal census: Harrison Twp., Pickaway county, OH under (Bradagam)family #88. 1880 federal census: Beaver Twp., Lincoln county, KS under (Britegam)family #98. If you go to usgenweb.com click on Kansas then to Lincoln county you will find a wealth of information on this Britegam family. Ancestry.com does not even have licoln county, ks 1880 census. Michael dies in 1887. The children were Isabelle, Henry, Ulysses, Orestes, Ivy (my line), Martha. They had an uncle (Mary Ann's brother) David Pontious and his wife Nancy and their children with them in Lincoln county. The children were 12 years and up when they lost Michael. You can get all the obits on the web site along with the ks state census. I have a question for you did Michael the dad and Henry the son both die around 1842 in Amanda Twp., Fairfied county, OH. With Michael b. 1830, he would only be around 12 years old. Fill in his life until he marries Mary Ann Pontious in 1860. Also, I ran across an 1860 census of Washington twp., Pickaway county, OH family # 115 of a Michael Bradigam 27 yrs + Catherine 24 yrs both from OH and Michael a farmer. Who is this Michael? Also, came across a Francis W. Brintigam m. Margaret Lewis 04 Feb 1858 and a John Brintigam m. Eliza Brownbach 31 Oct 1858 both in Pickaway county, OH. Are these two related to my Michael. Steve.
