I purchased a 1922 class photo taken by Frances Thompson Studio, San Francisco, CA. One of the students identified on the back of the mount is:
"6-Elsie Brautigam"
This individual appears in a Public Member Tree posted on ancestry.com. She is listed in the 1920 Census data for San Francisco (resided at 443 20th Street), San Francisco Co., CA.
Elsie Brautigam, born about 1910 in Germany, is the daughter of a knitting mills journeyman, Emil Bruno Brautigam, born about 1881 in Germany, and Katherina Schu, born about 1880 in Germany. The family emigrated to the U.S. in 1913.
