Help! Where's Phillip?
Posted by: Jeannette Gates Smith Date: June 12, 2000 at 21:56:36

I find my Great Aunt, Rachel Gates Crowley, married to a Brautigam, Brautigan in Pierce County Wa sometime after 1900. Her obituary from 1944 lists her survivors as daughter May or Mary Taylor and son Phillip Brantigan, although her headstone says Brautigam. Phillip was non exsistant at time of the 1900 census when Rachel was a widow living with her father and daughter in Gig Harbor, Washington. Her family came from Michigan before that, and Ontario before Michigan. Could be the Brautigam she married was someone she knew from Mi. Anyone know of a Rachel and son Phillip? I have no idea what her husbands name was. I haven't been able to find them on the census.
