To the best of my knowledge this part of the Brautigam family came from Germany to Balt. sometime previous to 1850. Indications are most likely about 1830-1840. Son Frederick moves to Newark in the early 1850's. I have no knowledge of them coming from Canada but it is with-in the realm of possibility.
