Hi! Maria Hannah CASSIDY married George BRAUTIGAM [pastry baker] in 1859 at St.Thomas Charterhouse, Finsbury. A daughter, Anne Maud BRAUTIGAM, married Henry PAUL in 1880 St. Luke Chelsea. Two BRAUTIGAM families in the 1881 UK Census of London, one in Wandsworth Battersea area. Special Note: If you've searched the IGI you may have missed "BRANTIGATE." The marriage of Maria and George has his surname spelled like that! It is indeed BRAUTIGAM. I have a copy of the marriage certificate from the UK. Several of their children are also in the IGI with their names spelled incorrectly [BRANTIGAN,BRANTIGAM...].If you think you may be connected...I look forward to your e-mail.
Cheers, Debbie in Tallahassee FL USA
