My great grandmother was Louise D.W. Braeutigam. She married John Rueger in Newark , New Jersey. Their son, Ernest John Rueger was my grandfather. Ernest John Rueger married Rose Heilmann and had a son, Ernest Richard Rueger. Ernest Richard was my father. They all lived in Newark, N.J. Louise's mother, Friedaricka Hartmann-Braeutigam,(my great-great grandmother) later moved to San Jose, CA. I recently moved to San Jose and noticed 3 Brautigams in the phone directory... Am interested in pursuing this family connection. Have lots of photos and even calling cards from Louise.
