Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

My late father-in-law, Charles DOWD, was the son of Christina BRAUTIGAM (1876-1914 in NY) who was the daughter of Thomas (1834 Bavaria-1902 NY) and Margaret(MILLER). Thomas's death cert said he was the son of John & Katherine- he worked as a piano varnisher/maker in Long Island City, Queens, NY. They were Catholic- many are buried in Calvary.
