The genealogy I have does not cover Gideon and Ruth Brayton and their branch of the family, except as peripheral mention as grandchildren of Gideon Brayton and Rebecca Nichols. The line it covers is Gideon's son Thomas, who married Sara Jenkins and then Jane White, and his descendants, especially of Thomas' son John, who married Mary Harris, and his descendants. I am descended from John and Mary through their son Moses and his son Henry (my great grandfather) who moved from Lake George, NY to Joliet, IL, where my mother (Zelda Brayton) and I were born. I am sorry I can't help you with your line, as they seem to be in the midwest, but I might be able to put you in touch with others of your lineage that I have made the acquaintance of from this forum.
