Mr.Grant, The article i have states that Clarissa was born in Canada too. Also said they removed to Vermont , then returned to Canada,he was a wheelewright,carpenter. HE moved to New York, where he built a sawmill and manufacture of lumber also had agristmill,lived there until he died I hope this informaton helps, I will get a hold of you soon at your e-mail address Thank you Linda
