Dear Ken
We may be related as I am a decendent of Henry Miller Brayton. He was married to Alice Amelia Tallman whose parents were my grandparents. Clyde Earl"IKE"Durland my mothers father married Harriet Louise Brayton, 10/11/1910.
Miles Brayton Hatch is in our family as well as Lewis Hatch and Amelia Ann Hatch. I have been researching for Rufus Brayton of the Civil War times for some time and he has been a hard one to find. I have researched other names as far back as the 600's but for what ever reason, I am having trouble with this family name.I do know that his wife's name is Clarissa Hoag, and that has been given to me by a family member. We would be so grateful if you could help us find Rufus or the spelling might be of another spelling. As you know census takers usually put it done as the heard it. What ever you can do to fill in the missing page, it would be wonderful. Let me know soon and if you recieved this info. Here is my e-mail jbcoll@yahoo.com Addressed to Bev. Thanks and hope we can connect the dots.
