Gideon Brayton (6th son of Thomas & Mary Phillips Brayton) b. 26 May 1742 m. Hannah Remington. I'm trying to place when Gideon moved to NY from RI. There's a Gdion Brayton who served in the Albany NY Militia 4th regiment during the Rev and I'm trying to determine if that is mine or another Gideon Brayton. Thanks! Ruth Kerr Mytty
