Cynthia - Thank you for responding......I have a Cynthia Brayton in my EMail address list with a different address, possibly we have been in contact before.

Charles Sumner Brayton was my great grandmother's (Mary Caroline Brayton Teeter) brother. I had some info on him but not on all his wives.

Are you tracing the family? If so, I can help you back to Francis Brayton in the 1600's, and would be glad to share. I did almost all the research myself, and haven't relied on or other internet sites, some of which I find have a lot of wrong and unsourced info. I started this in the early 60's and have worked on it off and on.

At one time, years ago, I was in contact with Hilda (Falley's wife) in Kalispel, after Falley had died. When Hilda died, I received a note from her daughter and don't have it now. (Mislaid it......)Was her name Mary Sherman? That sticks in my mind.

Do you have info on the family there so I could contact them and offer them the info I have? I would appreciate it.

You probably know that Falley was named after Charles Sumner's father, Gideon Falley Brayton. (I have a LOT on him.)

Please let me hear from you, if you wish to EMail direct, I am

Again, thanks so much for responding because I am very willing to share what family info I have.

Charlene in Kalamazoo
