Interesting, but there is no record on the SSDI of a Clifford Brayton, born 1889. If he died after 1980, surely he must have been listed! Do you have an address of where you last corresponded with him, so perhaps I could do a bit more tracking down? I did check the online library catalog at SUNY-Albany and find no references to materials about BRAYTON or by BRAYTON.
