Alan,
There is no mention in the geneology I have of Malone or Bombay NY, just Kingsbury, (Warren Co.) Queensbury, Brayton's Crossing (Ft. Ann), Glens Falls, Clifton Springs, and Lake George. Thomas was evidently a popular Brayton family name; my ggggrandfather was a Thomas, as was his grandfather. I know there were other Thomases as well. We don't seem to be from the same branch, but I hope you have luck finding your part of the family tree.
