This is imformation gathered from Mary Elizabeth Brayton Drew's application for daughters of the American Revolution. She was born in Livingston County, New York no date was given. She was married to Charles A. Drew They lived in Northfeild, Minnasota at that time (1905) Her Father was Walis Brayton (I wonder if she misspelled it Wallace? maybe?) who died in 1867. He married her mother, his 2nd wife Mary Strong Brayton in 1818. Mary Strong Brayton was born 7/4/1801 and died on 6/4/1894. For anyone interested in her, or related to her and wanting membership in Daughters of the American Revolution . . . here is what I know. Her parents were Mary Cook Strong & William Strong. William was the son of Israel Putnam Strong & Mary Bronson Strong. Israel Putnam Strong served in the Continental Army from 1777 to 1780. Somehow they are related to Kate M. Schaaf Brayton my great, great, grandmother who was the keeper of this document. Kate was married to Edward K. Brayton. I believe that they lived in Rice Lake Wisconsin. They had a daughter Elizabeth who married Theodore Surdson. I know that they lived in Rice Lake. Thank you all for your contributions to this website. I am sure that at sometime I may find out more about these people and it might be here. Janie Stevens
