George Brazier's cane

I am an antique dealer in Quebec city and just got a old cane (ca 1790) marked George Brazier Portland Me. It could be a Captain George Brazier possibly b. 1805 and deceased 1861. But I am not sure. As I like to document my pieces the most thoroughly,I would appreciate any information regarding a George Brazier of the 18th century or early 19th century. Thanks. Daniel
