Bonjour Arthur,
You posted: [Robert, Don't let "Nanny" get you down. We all appreciate the repository you are creating for our family name. I am absolutely sure, just from the holes in my nearby roots, that you will uncover logorithmically ever increasing, numbers of Breaux's. Oh! This little tirad of Nanny's brings to mind a question, do you have any marriage or birth records et cetera, of my grandfather Arthur John Breaux II and his father Arthur John Breaux (Leon Arthur)? Could you scan them and send them to me? I don't have a fax.]
I am not letting Nanny's messages frustrate me. She has refused to support her claims by citing any source at all, so to me it is useless. Genealogical data is as good as its sources wich can be seen by all.
The data on your grandfather Arthur John II comes from father Hebert's books for his birth and from Evanna Breaux Woodard for his marriage; as for your great-grandfather Arthur John (Leon Arthur) his birth and marriage informations come both from father Hebert's books.
Au revoir,
PS: I don't have photocopies of either acts, but since father Hebert gives the date and parishes in his books it would be easy to ask for such a photocopy from these parishes in their registers. Since I live in Canada and also since I have SO MANY descendants in my database (42760 nowadays) it would become too costly for me to get all these first hand documents.
