Ancestry.Com shows following:
What does the Breeding name mean?
Last Name: Breeding
1.North German: probably a patronymic form of a now-lost Germanic personal name, or a topographic name from Low German brede (open field). Compare Breiting.

First Name:Patience
English: from the vocabulary word denoting one of the Seven Christian Virtues. This name was a favourite with the Puritans, and survived better than many similar names, but now seems somewhat old fashioned. The word is derived from Latin pati to suffer, and was associated by the early Christians with those who endured persectuion and misfortune without complaint or loss of faith.
