Patsy, The names, Breeding and Breeden, have generally been used interchangeably. An 1807 land warrant issued to my gg grandfather, James, used the name, Breeding. The survey attached to it used the name, Breeden. Both variations are believed to be from the same origin, but there is disagreement regarding which came first.
