Alice Breeding was the oldest of five siblings born to William Montgomery Breeding, b. 1841, and Molly Grissom. William montgomery Breeding was the oldest child of Robert Montgomery Breeding and Sarah Adeline Leftwich, both born in 1820. My grandfather, George Bryant Breeding, b. 1848, was a younger brother of William Montgomery.
The marriage bond for Alice and J.A. Williams was signed by Robert Granville Breeding, Alice's uncle.
