Hello All -
I have a newspaper clipping that may be of interest to someone. It is an article about Fr. Hugh Breen retiring from St. Mary of the Mills Catholic Church in Laurel.
It says in the article that Fr. Breen was born in County Fermanagh, Ireland - Oct 5, 1899 - and that upon his retirement that he was returning to Brookboro to live with his sister.
There is a very nice photograph with the article. I would be happy to scan and email this to anyone who would like to see it.
Fr. Breen married my parents at St. Mary's in 1952 - -and he baptized me in 1955 at St. Mary's.
Please email me at: denise@chesapeake.net if you are interested.
Thanks
Denise
PS - There's no date on the article but since Fr. Breen started with St. Mary's in 1943,I assume this article is from 1968.
