Hi Eva,
Wilma G. of North Dakota suggested I contact you.We have some information on a Michael Breen spelling "Mikel A. Breen with land patents dated 1905 in Bottineau Co. along with Francis L. Breen. Also the same trio in Mc.Henry Co. spelled the same in 1905.
We don't have what I call "documented" connections to this Breen line, but there are also still some un-related Breen's in Williams Co....Williston area.My Breen's include Hugh B. Breen and John Joseph (he did everything legal as "Joseph Breen") Breen.Hugh B. Breen here is the son of our Joseph and was born in 1868 in Meeker Co.I am working on another Hugh B. Breen who homesteaded in Meeker Co. in 1877 and disapears in all the census data I have read so far for Meeker Co.He had a wife named JUlia so can't be the son of our Joseph...perhaps a brother or a "hoped-for father"...
Our Breen's also have land patents in Saskat. Canada that I am checking out.
Regards,
Linda
