I am also researching the Brees(e) lines in Nebraska and Iowa. My lines are from Benjamin Franklin Breese & Margaret Mock Breese. They had 12 children,my GRT.GR.father was one of them,Reuben Russell Breese b.1854 (IOWA) d.1937 (FRANKLIN,NE)Reuben married Erlene EVA Brees ( I believe her father was Henry Brees)EVA was b.1865 (IOWA) d.? Eva & Reuben are in the 1900 census of Franklin Co.NE. Two children of this marriage were Mabel b.1884 and my GR.Father John Arthur Breese b.1888 (NE) d.1951 (Franklin,NE). John Arthur m. Ruth Mable Billings,there were 3 ch.Ruby,Ruth Ellen and my father John Howard Breese b.8/8/1920 (NE) d.5/7/1977 (AZ) I am his only child Linda Loretta b.6/8/1948 (NE) Most of these Breese's are buried in Franklin,NE. There is also a Henry Allen Breese Buried in the Greenwood Cemetary. Henry b.10/2/1868 d.11/1/1948. You may want to contact Patti Simpson in Harlan Co.NE. She does alot of lookups for this area.
