I have received the following information on this family:

Lydia Effie BREESE/BREECE (5 jan 1866 Hardin Co.-1 Sep 1928 or 11 Feb 1887 Hardin Co.) m. Lewis Napoleon Baughman 10 Aug 1881 Franklin Co. Her parents were William BREECE/BREES (May 1834 Hardin Co.-) m. Sarah AXTELL (Aug 1835-1914). William's parents were Robert BREECE born in Wales and Lydia HENRY. Robert emigrated from Wales as a small boy with his parents and married Lydia in Logan Co. OH, her parents were natives of Virgina and settled in Logan Co where Lydia was born. Only 2 of Robert and Lydia's children were suppossed to be living in 1910, that was william and an Amanda GILLMAN (married name) also of Roundhead. Lydia married Lewis Napolean BAUGHMAN and lived in Kenton OH and only 1 of there 4 children survived and that was Mable BAUGHMAN, who is my gr grandmother.

William BREECE/BREES was suppossed to be one of the largest landowners and most extensive dealers in stock in Hardin Co. Robert BREECE/BREES was one of the pioneers of OH in several different parts of the state at different times. Sarah AXTELL can be traced back to the AXTELL/PRATT/STAR family's of MA in the 1600's, and further back to England.

I would appreciate any other information on the BREECE/BREES/BREESE family's like Robert's parents names, and any information on Lydia HENRY, and Amanda GILMORE.

Judy Wilhelm
