Hi John; my ggg-grandmother was Hannah Lafrance-Canouse; daughter of Samuel LaFrance and Mary Breese. Mary was born May 23, 1785, Basking Ridge, Luzerne, NJ and d. Dec. 21, 1871 Luzerne Co., Pennsylvania. I believe she is buried along with Samuel in Forty-Forty Cem. She is the daughter of Samuel Breese and Hannah Pierson. Samuel was born 1758 in Basking Ridge, Somerset, NJ and died 1837 in Wyoming, Luzerne County, Pa. He married Hannah Pierson in Basking Ridge, NJ. His parents were John Breese, b. 1713 in Shrewsbury, Salop, England and died in 1803 in Baskingridge, Nj. His mother was Dorothy Riggs, b. 1713 in Ulster, Scotland and died 1803. Hannah Pierson's parents were Willis Pierson of Basking Ridge, NJ and Mrs. Willis Pierson, b. 1730 in Milford, New Haven, Connecticut. This is all that I have. Hope this helps.
