There are a million of us Brees(e) descendants here in the U.S., and most of us are researching our family history. Erik Brees, for example, has his own home page, and has traced the family back to John Breese, born @1713 in Shrewsbury, England. I find it interesting that you should mention Wales...I had a great-aunt that was convinced that we were Welsh, but nothing anyone has researched points there! Erik has gedcom files on his homepage that you can down load and look at to see if you find a connection there!
