You have left me with the same question.....if the youngest William Breese was born 1847; and Mary Castel was the first wife of older William, then how can the younger William be Mary's child? Harriet married older William in 1835, and died in 1845.

This would mean that Mary Castel had to have married after Harriet, but I have no marriage certificate or proof for this.

Still trying to confirm who the mother of William (1847) is.

Any help is most appreciated in clearing up this family line.
