I am interested in the family of Zachary & Elizabeth Brewster of Thorpe Arnold, Leicestershire. Their son Joseph Brewster born 1700 married Mary Newton Feb.9,1724 Thorpe Arnold. Their son Joseph Brewster born 1729 Melton Mowbray died 1785 Penkridge, Staffordshire. This Joseph married Ann Dalby Feb.12,1752 Melton Mowbray. Their son, also Joseph Brewster b.1758 Stretton married Sarah Paddey Aug.29,1782 Brewood, Staffordshire Their daughter Ann Brewster married James Trehearn Jan 1821. There are several old Brewster things still in the family. Including some silver button off Joseph Brewster's coat. Several pieces of mourning jewelry pendants with pictures made from hair. Also a ring with JB on it. It is my understanding that Joseph Brewster made or invented steam threshing machines and became a fairly wealthy person. I would be interested in sharing information with anyone interested in this part of the Brewster family.
