It is believed that William's parents died and money was left or given to someone called Godfrey, but they put him into an orphanage until age 11. He was then taken to Corsham, Wiltshire UK, to a Sir and Lady Fuller and employed as a groom. He married Elizabeth Butler, and they had a son Edward William Brewster, born 1884. Sorry details sketchy, but I need to start somewhere.
