As a hobby I rescue old photos that have identification on them.
I have a smaller, little larger than wallet size photo that was taken probably late 1800s, of a woman. Her hair is done in a "Gibson" tuck or a real large bunn. She has a high collar dress/top on
On the back is written: "Your affectionate Cousin Maria Brewster". The photographer was G. Schneider on North Clark St. in Chicago.
