Curtis Brewster of Rolla, Missouri was born October 9, 1927 in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas to the late John and Leona (Web) Brewster, and entered into rest December 7, 2011 in Rolla, Missouri at the age of 84.

Curtis proudly served his country in the U.S. Army Air Corp during World War II. He was a good man and had a great sense of humor. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend and he will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his wife Ella Louise Brewster of Rolla; daughters Lola A. Walsh & husband William of Marietta, GA, Vicki L. Knox & fiancÚ Dennis Thompson of Blue Springs, MO and Sonja S. Childers & husband Steve of Rolla; brothers Royce Brewster of Maryland, John H. Brewster Jr. of Las Vegas, NV and James C. Brewster & wife Tommie of Waskom, TX; sisters Emma Orr of Godfrey, IL and Bobbie Ragan of Rolla; grandchildren Tara Walsh, Theodore Knox Jr., Tamison Reinhard, Nicholas Morgan, Anthony Walsh and Elizabeth Hedrick; great grandchildren Gagen and Kinsley Hedrick, Tyler, Kaylie, Bradley and Keira Morgan and Reese Ann Knox, along with several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his son Eugene Brewster and sisters Judy Pevey and Bernice White in addition to his parents.

Services for Curtis Brewster with Full Military Honors will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2011 at 5 PM with Pastor Ray Cook officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, December 10 from 4 to 5 PM at James & Gahr Mortuary in Rolla.

Memorials are suggested to Disabled American Veterans. Cards are available at all James & Gahr locations.
