Banff Brewster Origins - Robert Brewster, Jean Methven
Posted by: Arlin Brewster (ID *****1083) Date: November 30, 2012 at 14:40:05

I am interested in learning more about the deep ancestry of the Brewster family that moved to the Banff, Alberta, Canada area in the 1800s. A preliminary genealogical search seems to indicate that they had an ancestor named Robert Brewster (born about 1695), married to Jean Methven, that lived in Scotland. I don't seem to be able to find any information regarding this family prior to this date. Any help would be appreciated. I am specifically looking for any ties this family has further back in time in England.

Thank you,

Arlin Brewster
