I recently found a David P. BRIANT in the 1840 Jackson Co., AL census. He evidently was between 50-60, and there were two other males: one between 10-15, and one under five. The females were: one between 40-50 (wife?), one between 15-20, two between 5-10, and one unders 5. My ggggreat grandmother Mary Hollie S. BRYANT married Mathew WILSON about this time in Jackson Co. The families seem to have been next to one another. Do you know if this is her family?
