Transcript of will of Thomas J. Brierly, July 7, 1882
I, Thomas J. Brierly of Augusta Kentucky,
do make and publish this as my last will
and testament “???”.
1stWhereas I hold a certificate of membership
in the “Masonic ???? Benefit Association
of Maysville Kentucky”, I ??? will and
direct that my executors shall collect the
amount that will be due me from said
association and out of the sum first pay
my funeral expenses and ??? and legal
debts.And the balance of said funds I
give and bequeath to my children, Charles
Brierly and Josie Brierly to be divided
equally between them.
2ndI desire that my other property I may
have at my death be equally divided
between all my children then living.
3rdI hereby constitute and appoint Geo. W. ???
??? as my executor, and desire that he
see that the provisions of this will are carried
out.
4thIf I should die while my two children Charles
and Josie Brierly are under twenty one years,
of age, I desire that my executors have
them placed the “Masonic Widows and orphans
home” at Louisville, Ky.
